The same invisible hands that struck the chains from Peter’s wrists are breaking the chains off of nations as we go and preach the Gospel in obedience to the Great Commission. None of this would be possible were it not for the persistent and continual prayers of the people of God. We believe that every one of the faithful prayer warriors who have stood at our side and covered us in prayer are just as important as the one preaching on the platform. I believe that those who cover us in prayer will have a share in the rewards because God does not reward according to our function. He rewards according to our faithfulness and obedience.
You may never be able to preach to millions of people, minister to kings and governors, or start a worldwide evangelistic ministry, but through prayer YOU have the ability to transform nations. What an incredible thought!
If we desire to see our church, our city, and our nation shaken and the harvest gathered in, we must pray! If we desire to see an outpouring of the Holy Spirit in our time, we must pray! If we want to see the chains that Satan has crafted for our generation fall at our feet, we must pray. If we want to see prison doors open as they did for Peter and the captives set free, we must pray! If we want to see the dam breached and God’s glory flood the earth,
we must pray!
